SocialFund Terms and Conditions

These Terms are an agreement between you and Drop Dolar LLC (“we,” “us”), a California limited liability company, about the SocialFund iOS app and related sites (the “Service”).

By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What SocialFund is

SocialFund is a voluntary membership community for backing a shared pool and live campaigns (housing, energy, education, transit, infrastructure, and community needs). It is Kickstarter-style campaign backing.

SocialFund is not:

an investment, security, equity interest, or claim on Drop Dolar LLC or campaign assets
a bank, lender, insurer, money-transmitter pitch, or brokerage
a promise of financial returns
a tax-deductible charity or tax credit, unless counsel later confirms a qualifying program and we say so in writing
a landlord, a closing, or an apartment assignment
a government benefit program

You do not receive ownership, profit share, or a right to housing because you contribute, vote, post, or play.

2. Who may use it

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your state). You must be able to form a contract. You must use a real Apple Account you control. One person, one member account.

3. Your account

You sign in with Sign in with Apple. You choose a display name and username. You are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your Apple Account secure.

You may edit display name, username, and biography. We may refuse a username that is impersonating, illegal, or confusing.

You may delete your account by emailing ryanfermoselle@outlook.com with the subject “Delete SocialFund account.” See the Privacy Policy.

4. Membership and access

The iOS app is free to download and use. Sign-in, map, forums, votes, games, and profile do not require a paid unlock in this version.

Any future paid membership that unlocks in-app features would be sold through Apple In-App Purchase and described in an updated version of these Terms. We will not use an outside checkout to unlock digital features.

5. Contributions and money (this version)

Contribute is Stripe test mode only. Test cards (including 4242 4242 4242 4242) do not collect live funds. Sandbox and test records stay labeled.

When we later enable live contributions, they will be:

voluntary gifts to a location pool or campaign, not a purchase of a building or a share of the company
processed by Stripe on behalf of Drop Dolar LLC
subject to processing and platform fees disclosed in the app
all-or-nothing on project campaigns and requests: if the goal is missed by the deadline, each backer gets their remaining share of that item back; Stripe card fees may not be recoverable
recorded on a public money trail (amount, time, reference). Your display name appears only if you allow it

A contribution plan in the app is an intention. It is not a charge until you confirm a payment.

We pay named vendors or bills when a funded request says so. We do not send cash to a requester for personal aid. Personal medical requests are gifts, not insurance or a health plan. The community can vote no.

6. Location pools

Drop Dolar LLC is organized in California. The California pool is the open money pool first. People outside California may back the California pool.

Other states and territories may appear on the map as interest or a watch list. Their money pools stay closed until we are registered there and counsel clears local money-handling rules. A pin or “watch” mark is not a local offering.

7. Voting

Confirmed backers vote one person, one vote. Contribution size, Social Points, social score, and Impact XP do not add ballots.

City or community polls are preference signals. They are not spending authority and do not assign housing.

Completing a campaign goal is pursuit funding. It is not a closing and not an apartment assignment.

8. Housing

If SocialFund ever operates apartments, eligible applicants are chosen by lottery under fair-housing and local rules. Contribution size, Social Points, social score, Impact XP, map pins, forum posts, and campaign roles do not decide who lives there. A licensed property manager would operate the building. Territory marks and team roles do not assign housing.

9. Recognition and games

Social Points are non-transferable recognition from confirmed gifts. They are not money, crypto, a redeemable balance, or a security.

Games (Social Fund RPG, Quest Lab, Arcade, Simulation Studio, and related play) award Impact XP only. Games are original simulations. They are not a promise of real SocialFund results, not Stick RPG or any other commercial game, and not housing access.

10. Example catalog

Pages marked Example or vision (including Riverside-style listings) are illustrations of the model. They are not operating SocialFund assets and not live campaigns you are funding today.

11. Your content

You keep ownership of text and images you post. You grant Drop Dolar LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and moderate that content in the Service.

You will not post illegal content, harassment, fraud, investment solicitations, or anything that claims SocialFund sold you equity or an apartment. We may remove content and suspend accounts.

Map pins are public preference signals, not applications.

12. Prohibited uses

You may not use the Service to offer securities, run a lottery for money prizes, launder money, evade taxes, harass people, scrape the Service, or break the law.

13. Third parties

Sign in is provided by Apple. Hosting and authentication data sit with Supabase. Test (and later live) payments go through Stripe. Their terms also apply.

14. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” We do not promise uninterrupted access, specific campaign outcomes, Cost Rent numbers from games, or that a test simulation will match a real project. Forecasts and scorecards are models, not guarantees.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Drop Dolar LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, arising from the Service or from campaign outcomes. Our total liability for a claim about the Service is limited to the greater of ten U.S. dollars or the live amounts you paid us in the three months before the claim (test charges count as zero).

Some states do not allow certain limits. In those states our liability is limited to the maximum allowed.

16. Indemnity

You will defend and hold Drop Dolar LLC harmless from claims that arise from your content, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

17. Changes

We may update these Terms. The new date will appear at the top. Material changes will be noted in the app or by email when we have an address. Continued use after the update is acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and request deletion.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in California have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
