MouseMe ("the App") is developed by Ryan Joshua Fermoselle ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use it.
Summary: MouseMe is designed to work on your local network. Your phone sends control commands (mouse movement, clicks, keystrokes, and optional TV remote commands) directly to your Mac on the same WiโFi or via optional Bluetooth. We do not operate a cloud service that receives, stores, or sells your inputs.
MouseMe does not:
We do not operate servers that receive your control data.
The App uses device capabilities only to provide its features. This processing happens on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or other supported device:
The App may store preferences locally, such as connection settings, mouse style and sensitivity settings, and optional TV device information you configure. This information stays on your device unless you delete the App or reset your device.
MouseMe does not share your data with third parties for marketing or analytics.
If you use the TV remote feature with a Roku device, commands are sent from your Mac to that device on your local network according to Roku's own policies. We do not control Roku devices or their services.
MouseMe is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will address it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
